Notable Systems

A brand system built to scale with the intelligence inside it.

Project Overview

From Scattered Assets to a System That Governs Itself

Notable Systems had already built something meaningful — an AI-driven platform helping healthcare teams eliminate paperwork and focus on patient outcomes. But their brand wasn't keeping pace. Visual assets were inconsistent across teams, the logo had structural issues, and there was no design language to hold everything together.

We started with strategy and ended with infrastructure. Through a series of BaseCamp brand workshops with C-level leadership, we mapped what was working, what wasn't, and what the brand needed to become. The result is a fully governed brand system — not a style guide, a living operating standard.

A Brand That Couldn't Keep Up With the Product Behind It

Healthcare AI is a high-trust category. Buyers are cautious, procurement cycles are long, and the brand carries the burden of proof before any conversation begins. Notable Systems had a platform that genuinely worked — but a visual and strategic presence that didn't reflect it. Assets were inconsistent across teams, the logo had structural flaws that compounded at scale, and there was no unified design language to anchor marketing, sales, or product communication.

The task wasn't just a visual refresh. It was building the operating infrastructure of a brand — from structural logo correction to a governed system that teams could actually use without breaking.

Details
  • Logo geometry audit and structural correction
  • Color system redesign mapped to three strategic pillars
  • BaseCamp workshop series with C-level and marketing leadership
  • Brand roadmap development across a 12-month horizon
  • Touchpoint audit across print, digital, and trade materials

Verbal and Visual Identity

Three Pillars. One System. Zero Ambiguity.

Notable Systems operates at the intersection of healthcare reliability, AI-driven intelligence, and human approachability. The new color system encodes this directly: Health Teal for clarity and trust, Bright Electric Blue for precision and AI, Warm Coral for the human layer that makes automation feel safe. Each hue has a role. None are decorative.

The logo's core geometry was corrected before any color work began. In black-and-white, the paper-plane symbol and the opening "n" had created an unintended merged form — structural ambiguity that would have propagated into every downstream application. We resolved the geometry first, then built the gradient system on top of a mark that could hold up at any scale and in any context.

Corporate typography was updated, licensed, and brought under governance — removing the inconsistency that had accumulated across years of decentralized production.

Governed Design System

Not a Style Guide. A Brand That Operates.

Most brand refreshes end with a PDF. This one ended with a connected system. Through a federated governance model, we built a token-based design infrastructure — design tokens in Figma, synced to GitHub, deployable across every digital surface Notable Systems owns or will build.

The component library follows Atomic Design principles: tokens define the base, components assemble from tokens, pages compose from components. When a brand decision changes at the token level, it propagates everywhere. This is the layer that makes a brand scalable — not just consistent.

Details
  • Token architecture: semantic naming, Figma-GitHub sync
  • Custom Webflow component library (Atomic Design)
  • 17-week build phased across Foundation → System → Build → Complex → Polish
  • Federated governance model with contribution guidelines
  • Brand Encoding Matrix for mechanical enforcement of strategic pillars

Digital Results

A Rebuilt Foundation. Measurable From Day One.

Before the full Webflow build was complete, we corrected the existing site's technical foundation — SEO structure, page architecture, and performance baseline. The impact was immediate. Within one quarter of Halobrand's involvement, site traffic more than tripled, organic search nearly quadrupled, and demo requests — the most direct indicator of commercial intent — increased by close to 5x.

The new Webflow build, currently in production, will carry this system forward: a governed component library, token-based design system, and custom JS integrations that bring Notable Systems' product complexity into a digital experience that matches it.

"We went from inconsistent brand assets scattered across teams to a single governed system — tokens, Figma, GitHub, all connected. Halobrand didn't just redesign our brand, they engineered how it operates."
